Throttle/shifting Corroded cables. Clean and lubricate cables.
problems Defective throttle return Replace the throttle return

Low transmission oil level. Replenish the transmission
fluid.
•Sticking transmission Clean and lubricate detent

Steering problems Corroded cables. Clean and lubricate the
cable.
•Rudder worn. See your dealer.
Excessive vibration Fouled propeller. Remove objects from the
propeller shaft and rudder.
Damaged propeller. Replace the propeller.
•Misaligned propeller shaft Check the alignment. See
coupling. your dealer for proper
realignment.
Bent propeller shaft. See your dealer.
Electrical problems Open circuit breaker or Reset the circuit breaker
blown fuse. or replace the fuse.
Loose wing connections Clean and tighten wiring
or corrosion. connections.
Defective sending unit. Replace the sending unit.
Shorted wiring harness. Repair the wiring harness.
Defective switch or gauge. See your dealer.
No speedometer Disconnected, kinked or Repair or replace the
plugged tubing. tubing.
Plugged pitot pickup. Remove objects from the
pickup.
Defective pitot pickup. Replace pitot pickup.
Defective speedometer. Replace the speedometer.
Incorrect speedometer Blocked pitot tube. Remove the blockage.
•Water in tubing. Disconnect the tubing at the
speedometer and blow out
the tubing. Tighten nut
finger snug, then 1/4 turn
more.
Defective speedometer. Replace the speedometer.
